One Year Later {Newborn to Smash Cake}

I have the best job. I get to meet awesome families and snuggle babies but one of the most special parts is getting to watch these tiny newborns grow up and become toddlers and, if Im lucky enough, big kids. Babies change so much in their first year...rolling, laughing, sitting, talking, walking..there are so many milestones in the first year! Sometimes I see babies throughout their first year and other times I come back just for their smash cake session. Either way, I feel so lucky to be witnessing such special moments in their little life. Smash cake sessions are my 2nd favorite session (newborn sessions are #1 of course) and parents understand why as soon as the cake hits the ground. They are so much fun! They produce hilarious and adorable pictures and you really get a peek into a toddlers personality when they are presented with the chance to dive into a cake all alone. Here is a look at some of my newborns one year later (and now I really want cake....)
