Jackie & Matt {Maternity Session}

Two things I love: maternity sessions and a couple so in-love you can feel it. Jackie and Matt are possibly the cutest, most lovey, snuggly couple I have ever had the honor of photographing. Getting your picture taken by a stranger can be super awkward for most people so capturing natural interaction, love and laughter doesn't always come easily. Well, these two made my job a breeze. All I had to say was get snuggly right here on the couch (to which they replied, "thats how we lay when we watch tv"...adorable) and I told Matt to whisper inappropriate things to Jackie to make her laugh and we were off! The love they have for each other was so refreshing and beautiful and the excitement they have about welcoming their first baby was awesome. Since the weather has been so unpredictable we weren't sure if it would be warm enough for an outdoor session and I'm (surprisingly) glad it wasn't! I loved documenting the soon-to-be parents in their pre-baby home. Sure, there was a nursery filled with baby items but the rest of the home didn't show signs of the new life Jackie and Matt will soon have. I am so excited to get back to this family to experience the shift of life and love and to document their newest family member.
